Anyone trying out or participating in a school sanctioned sport must have a physical completed and on file at the school. Physical packets can be obtained in the school office or click here to download. Parents/guardians can stop by the office 7:30-4:00 or call to have one sent home with the student. The physical will need to be dated April 1, 2020 or after.
Welcome to Princeton Community Intermediate School home of third, fourth and fifth graders. Our community has provided us with an exceptional facility to serve our students with a dedicated staff. Our staff has spent the past two years developing and honing our curriculum to better serve each of our students needs as well as the Indiana Academic Standards. One of our many academic goals is to instill the love of reading in our students setting them on a journey as lifelong readers. Our second focus is Math competency teaching our students to think deeply about how why Math is such an integral part of our daily lives. Applying their knowledge across curriculum is key as we work to meet the rigorous Indiana Standards.
Some of our community events like our back to school picnic, bingo for books, and March Madness event make PCIS a hub for family engagement. Our school has three computer labs and these are joined with our tablet cart and Spheros to make for some technological opportunities heightening student interest and engagement. Our instructional staff, cafeteria staff, custodial staff, and administration staff are always at the ready to serve your child. We proudly serve Princeton and several of our surrounding communities including Patoka, Hazleton, Wheeling, and Mt. Olympus! If you have questions about our school, please contact us at 812-386-1221 or fax 812-386-1577.
