Hello! My name is Nevaeh P. (preferred name Koda) and I am a student from Sweet Home High School in Sweet Home Oregon. I was selected by my art teacher to have the honor to draw in the Pass It On book sent from your school! I just wanted to mention how big of an opportunity this had been as an artist from a small town school. I love the idea of sharing art like this and seeing all the different interpretations other students have on the concept of art. I was genuinely excited for the experience itself as art is something very important to me. I hope to keep up with where this goes and would love to see how the book progresses.
My teacher and I had all of her art classes vote on where to send this book and we overall decided to send it to Kapa'a High School in Hawaii on the island Kaua'i. I believe this was an option based on another student whose parents had graduated from this particular school.
And finally, a photo of my page in the book. It is done entirely in colored pens I had laying around after years of collecting them. I hope it sparks creativity in the next artist to receive the book.
